Best Young Wingers in FC 27 Career Mode — Top 15 High-Potential RW and LW Wonderkids
Young WingersWingers are the most crowded wonderkid market in Career Mode. There are plenty of quick, tricky teenagers, and because they turn into your main source of goals, AI clubs compete hard for them. With so many options, it pays to look at three things together: potential, pace, and which flank the player actually covers.
This list pulls every RW, LW, RM and LM aged 23 or under from the FC 27 squad file and ranks them by potential (POT).
OVR, POT and attributes come from the FC 27 squad file. Transfer fees are estimates calculated from overall, potential and age; the real asking price in your save will depend on the selling club and contract. Attributes are listed as PAC / SHO / PAS / DRI / DEF / PHY.

Lamine Yamal stands alone: 90 OVR at 18 with 95 potential, the highest ceiling of any young player in FC 27. At an estimated €170m, though, you realistically need to be managing Barcelona to use Yamal. For most saves, the real shortlist starts at Estêvão in fifth place.
Right Wingers vs Left Wingers
Split the table by primary position and a clear pattern appears.
- Right side (RW/RM), 9 players: Yamal, Doué, Cherki, Diomande, Estêvão, Güler, Rayan, Karl, Quenda
- Left side (LW/LM), 6 players: Barcola, Nico Williams, Nusa, Ngumoha, Moore, Pietuszewski
Six of the top seven are right-sided, while the left-sided options cluster at 88 POT. The budget list further down is almost entirely left-sided. In short: the right flank has the highest ceilings but costs more; the left flank is cheaper and deeper.
If you want value on the right, Estêvão (Chelsea) is the pick. The Brazilian goes 80 → 90 (+10 growth) with 89 pace, and an estimated €40m makes Estêvão the cheapest 90-potential winger on the list. The contract runs to 2033, so this is a long-term piece. Rayan (Bournemouth, 19) is the physical alternative, with 74 PHY plus Power Shot and Enforcer.
On the left, Ngumoha (Liverpool, 17) stands out with 90 pace and +13 growth, and the deal ends in 2028, which may help negotiations. With 49 PHY, Ngumoha works better as an impact sub early on. Nusa (Leipzig) is the classic dribbler: 85 DRI with Rapid and Quick Step.
Ready-Now Wingers for Season One
If you need results straight away, focus on players already at 82 OVR or higher.
- Doué (PSG, 21) has 80 PHY, 55 DEF and Press Proven, an ideal fit for high-pressing setups, covering RW, LW and CM.
- Cherki (Man City) is a playmaker on the wing: 85 PAS, 91 DRI and Trickster+. At 74 pace Cherki is slow for a winger, so an inverted role or CAM suits best.
- Diomande (Real Madrid, 19) combines 93 pace with Quick Step+ and a contract to 2033. With +6 growth left, Diomande works both now and long-term.
- Barcola (Liverpool) and Nico Williams (Athletic) are pace-first left wingers at 92–93 PAC. Nico's contract runs to 2035, so expect a tough negotiation.
- Moleiro (Villarreal, 22) misses the top 15 but goes 82 → 87 at an estimated €45m, one of the cheapest ready-now options. Positions: LM, CAM and LW.

- Albert (Dortmund, 17) offers 88 potential for an estimated €5.8m, the same ceiling as the bottom of the top 15 at roughly a third of the price. With +22 growth and a contract expiring in 2027, Albert is the first call to make.
- Zinhagel (Feyenoord) is the cheapest at €2.0m and already has 88 pace. With +26 growth, Zinhagel is a good candidate for a couple of loan spells.
- Cavan (Philadelphia, 16) is the only player here who covers the right side (RM, RW). Keep Cavan in mind, because cheap right wingers are rare.
- Bisiwu (Barcelona) plays LW, RW and ST, which is handy for rotating your front line.
Tips for Developing Young Wingers
- Prioritise players who are already quick. Pace drives winger performance, so low-OVR players with high pace, like Zinhagel (88) and Ngumoha (90), earn minutes more easily.
- Use multi-position players. Doué (RW/LW/CM) and Quenda (RM/LM/CAM) cover both flanks or the middle, which is valuable for rotation.
- Match the player to your system. A 4-3-3 winger wants pace; a 4-2-3-1 wide midfielder benefits from passing and dribbling (Cherki, Güler). See example setups in our tactics hub.
